Granite Edges

There are many different granite edges to choose from. These close up pictures are of edges on Kashmir Gold Granite.

Kashmir Gold Granite Edge

In the picture above, this edge is called a rock face edge. It's jagged, it's rustic yet natural looking. A special tool called a "Beaver Cutter" is used to get this rough edge. The rock face edge was used on a piece of granite for the laundry room.

Kashmir Gold Granite Edge

The second close up is of an eased edge.

This is one of the simplest types of granite edges and used on back splashes as well as countertops. It is almost flat but has a slight curve on the top and the bottom edge of the stone. It takes an excellent fabricator to make your edges uniform. View more stone edges here.
