The Vizag Blue Granite quarry is located at Tekkali in Srikakulam District approximately 93 miles outside of Vizag.

This natural stone is a fine grained gneiss with smatterings of garnet. It has a light to dark blue background with lots of movement and is sold as either medium or dark Vizag Blue. The colors and shades vary so it's best to view your actual stone.

It's a frost resistant natural stone that comes in tile form and slabs.

Interesting Fact: Vizag is the shortened name "Visakhapatnam". Visakhapatnam is a port city named after the God of Valour, Visakha.
