Soapstone Kitchen

Soapstone Kitchen - These home owners opted for soapstone countertops. They liked the natural look of this stone. The counters look really nice with the natural wood cabinets and slate tiles.

It's hard to see but they used some fantastic fossils in their backsplash!

They plan on oiling it with mineral oil - just didn't have it done when I was snapping photos. The oil makes a huge difference - the stone turns really dark and the veins pop.

This stone will look almost black.

I love working with soapstone. I love installing a soapstone kitchen. I wish more people could appreciate how truly unique this natural stone is.

I had this same problem in my last house. We put in shorter windows so we could have counter top space there. http://wiseessaywriting.com/ Ended up spending a lot of time and money fixing the outside of the house. Much better idea here.

Love it in the master!

I helped my parents design their cabin and I talked them into soapstone for their master bath. They really love it now and it's nice to have a different finish then grandite.

Nice! Job

I also have soapstone in my home and love it. I wish I would have seen this picture first. We went with a short soapstone backsplash and then painted the wall. This Tile splash is 100 times nicer!!
