It's classified into different types at the quarry according to the color - light, medium and extra dark (Royal dark) - and the quality.

This stone is a well known material in the U.S. market. One of its main uses is as a building stone for facades and flooring on both interiors and exteriors.

Interesting Fact: Monola Brown (Baltic Brown MG) is produced next to the Russian border.
