Blue Bahia Granite, also known as Azul Bahia Granite, has been available since about 1965. It's quarried in Sao Salvador, Brazil in limited supply.

This is one of the MOST exclusive and expensive natural stones.

The color is usually a deep brilliant blue caused by the sodalite in the stone. Due to frequent shade and color variations, this is one stone you should hand pick.

Interesting Fact: Blue Bahia contains the azure blue mineral sodalite. Acids can AND will change this blue color to gray.
